After the great response of the past editions, the horizon and goals of the festival are broadened this year, together with the desire to strengthen collaboration between genders.
First of the many novelties is the opening of the International Composition Contest to both genders, as always without any distinction of age or background. The main goal: to create harmony and spread feminine work in the field of music. Everyone is asked to make a contribution for a world-wide fairer and supportive society.
As always, the Festival, with its International Composition Contest and Online Contest on the Amat Hub platform, will be enriched by interviews, events, and online and offline appointments. First and foremost is the concert of the semifinalist pieces presented by Loredana Lipperini, which, thanks to the Patronage of the Municipality, will take place in Florence on November 25, 2023 at the Centro d’Arte Murate Art District.
The other major news of the 2023 edition, dedicated to a cappella vocal scores, is the inauguration of the “POP” category and the tour to New York with the final concert of the Unconventional Singers, where the award-winning songs will be announced. Amat’s artistic team is very enthusiastic: “We expect to receive many interesting proposals and are happy to be able to fly our festival all the way to New York, thanks to the collaboration and support of Barry and Lilia Bloom, to whom our sincere thanks go.”
